IRIS Corporation Berhad, a global security end-to-end solutions provider with core expertise in Electronic Identification cards and Electronic Passport presents its electronic passport personalization and border control solutions at CeBIT Hannover, Germany.
The exhibit focuses on the IRIS’ electronic passport systems for enrolment, personalization and issuance of e-passports and IRIS’ Autogate for automated border control.
In Hall 6, Booth #K13, visitors can experience how the electronic passport is personalized and authenticated at border control. They can also learn more about the electronic passport systems, which adhere to the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) standards and deliver a multi-level identity management solution combining fingerprints, facial characteristics, biodata and signature capture.
The highlight of the demo is the Autogate, an integrated electronic passport processing and border access control system. It facilitates automatic border clearance for travelers at the immigration entry and exit point.
Other exhibits of the company include contactless substrates, contact and contactless smart cards, electronic passport readers and mobile smart terminals.
