Job Description:

  • Responsible for day to day operations and continuity of servers, network infrastructure and business application software.
  • Communicate with internal teams including Project Management, Development Team, QA Team and Clients to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Monitor system performance at designated project sites. Update corresponding Project Manager on project issues and resolutions.

  • Primary responsibility must be to evaluate the technical feasibility of network infrastructure and make recommendation to management with respect to technical issues and work with vendors to create optimum cost effective solutions.

  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency, planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment, defining network policies and procedures, establishing connections and firewalls.
  • Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems, escalating problem to vendor.
  • To install, manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, servers, network equipment, NAS, SAN)
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Job Requirements:

Education:
  • Possess at least Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer Engineering or equivalent with excellent academic results (both SPM and tertiary level).
  • CCNA or CCNP, MCSA or MCSE and VCP qualified.
Experience:
  • At least 5 – 7 years of relevant working experience in implementing and troubleshoot Network, Windows and VMware environment.
  • Experience in network security is a plus.
  • Must have supervisory experience and able to manage a team of at least 2 staff.
  • Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
  • Results oriented, dynamic, creative and self-driven.
  • Time management skills and good judgement in prioritizing deliverables.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, Qos, layer 2 and layer 3 VLANS. Concepts include, but no limited to BGP, OSPF, ISIS, HSRP, NAT, 802.1x, 802.1q and 802.1ah.
  • Strong working knowledge of structured cabling system, network facilities, UPS, etc.
  • Strong router, switch and IP configuration experience is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, Server and DB failover cluster, Network load balancer, High Availability, Virtualization technologies, Network Time Protocol (NTP) and patch management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and VMware Infra, SAN Storage and SAN Switches.
  • Good working knowledge of Backup and Recovery, Linux server administration and/ or Network monitoring tools administration.
  • Additional knowledge in Windows/ Linux shell scripting and/ or Hyper Converge Infrastructure (HCI) is an added advantage.

Job Description:

  • Primary responsibility for the Windows, Linux servers & services, appliances on hardware and OS level and for the Storage Systems on handling 1st level support. This includes Microsoft365E3 & AZURE AD portal.
  • Secondary responsibility for Database, Network, Security engineering tasks.
  • Look into ways to automate system tasks.
  • Progressively fine tuning to optimize systems, security, network & databases capabilities.
  • Keep harden system security with cost effective without compromise.
  • Play a “hands-on” role in the above-mentioned areas when required by the situation, ensuring delivery in the different areas of responsibility
  • Manage teams of external consultants associated with the delivery of the above services.

  • Report in a timely fashion to the Head of Unit and Head of Division and ensure availability and consistency of appropriate management information by area Management, Configuration/Change Management and Data Centre Lifecycle in the area of responsibility following ISO27K standard.
  • Implement the system follow security guidelines and policies recommended by the IT Security Unit and related results of internal and external audits
  • Coordinates the processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs.

Job Description:

  • Prioritize in-house compliance audit schedules to meet compliancy to the above management systems.
  • Perform in-house compliance audits as per schedules.
  • Prepare the in-house compliance reports in timely manner.
  • Follow-up and assist the auditee on the findings issued during in-house and 3rd party audits and action plans until closure.
  • Support and assist in maintaining the risk management system for ISO14298, CWA15374 and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Update and maintain ISO documentation for CTC department.
  • Perform department administrative roles when required.

  • Managing database related projects, including planning, execution, overseeing project timeliness and resources.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex database issues, as well as develop contingency plans for potential failures or data breaches.
  • Responsible for leading a team of DBAs or collaborating with other departments for performance, scalability and reliability.
