With AI transforming the very lives of Malaysians today, it is imperative that Malaysia assumes its position as the region’s ecosystem for AI and Big Data adoption. One of the initiatives to accelerate this adoption is the MYINDUSTRY AI Scholarship Programme, a Masters by research in AI scholarship jointly funded by the industry, university and MDEC. The pilot scholarship programme will provide minimum monthly stipend of RM2,500 up to 24 months and tuition fees. Participating universities include University of Malaya, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Multimedia University. As one of the seven pioneer companies supporting this scholarship, IRIS aims to make full use of AI to improve Trusted Identification solutions.
