YBhg. Dato’ Sri Hj. Mustafar becomes the first Director-General of Immigration Department of Malaysia to make an official visit to IRIS Corporation Berhad (IRIS) on 29 December 2016. Dato’ Sri Hj. Mustafar, who was welcomed by IRIS’ Deputy Managing Director, Dato Hamdan Mohd Hassan, had discussions about Malaysia ePassport as well as other areas of Trusted Identification.

YBhg. Dato’ Sri Hj. Mustafar made the official visit to IRIS along with 19 other delegates and representatives from Immigration Department of Malaysia to learn more about IRIS’ Trusted ID innovations and new Border Control solution.
Among the demonstrated technologies were:

1. Smart Border Control with Pre-Read
2. LDS 2: The next evolution of ePassport standards
3. New ePassport concept
4. Dual interface multi-application eID card with mobile eID
5. IRIS new Match-On-Card Solution
