IRIS Continues Its Commitment to Sustainability Through Zoo Negara CSR Initiative
Kuala Lumpur, 18 July 2026 – IRIS Corporation Berhad successfully conducted its annual IRIS CSR 2026 – Zoo Negara Groom Project, reaffirming the Group’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
Held at Zoo Negara Malaysia, the programme brought together IRIS employees who volunteered alongside Zoo Negara’s maintenance team to carry out various cleaning and landscaping activities. Volunteers worked together to clean the area surrounding Zoo Negara’s Bee Museum kiosk so that the site can be transformed into a beautiful Botanical Garden.
As part of this year’s initiative, IRIS also extended its support through the sponsorship of ZooKu Membership Cards and essential supplies to assist Zoo Negara in its ongoing conservation and operational efforts. The contribution reflects IRIS’ continued dedication to supporting meaningful initiatives that benefit both the community and the environment.
This marks the third consecutive year that IRIS has partnered with Zoo Negara Malaysia for the Groom Project, strengthening a long-standing collaboration built on shared values of sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community responsibility.
Beyond the day’s activities, the programme provided employees with an opportunity to work together outside the workplace while contributing to a meaningful cause. It also reinforced the importance of collective action in preserving natural environments and supporting wildlife conservation.
IRIS extends its sincere appreciation to Zoo Negara Malaysia for the warm hospitality and collaboration, as well as to all employees who volunteered their time and effort to make the programme a success.
As a responsible corporate citizen, IRIS remains committed to supporting initiatives that create lasting positive impact for the community, the environment, and future generations.
